Salary: L12-18 (£67,898 - £78,702 pa); Permanent; Full Time; Required for 1 September 2026.

About the role

This is a fantastic opportunity to lead two schools as Executive Headteacher within our values-led Trust. Both schools have been well led and have worked together as part of the Hope Federation for a number of years. This post is available on the retirement of the current Headteacher.

Responsibilities

  • Lead two schools as Executive Headteacher, further improving school performance in line with the Trust’s Christian values.
  • Collaborate with central Trust team to receive support from experienced leaders and participate in the Trust’s PD programme.
  • Foster collaboration between the two schools while valuing differences and maximizing opportunities for staff and children to work together.
  • Maintain and develop safeguarding, together with the Trust safeguarding policy; ensure full safeguarding checks and satisfactory references for all appointments.

Qualifications and requirements

  • Demonstrable track record of improving schools within a Senior Leadership role.
  • Ability to live, celebrate and harness Christian values; support future development of Hope’s offer for children and communities.
  • Understanding of and ability to support leaders in executive roles; willingness to work with a central Trust team.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and welfare of all children; completion of safeguarding checks; reference satisfactory.
  • Eligibility and compliance requirements as per statutory guidance (DBS checks, child disclosures, English language requirement).
  • Evidence of strategic leadership, school improvement planning, and staff development.
