Salary - Pay Points 7-11, £17,868 – £19,044 actual pa (£26, £28,142.00 FTE).

Temporary until 31 August 2026 initially.

Part time, 30 hours per week, term time only.

Required for 13 April 2026.

Kessingland Church of England Primary Academy are looking to appoint a Higher Level Teaching Assistant.

Working Hours: The exact working pattern will be agreed with the successful candidate at interview but will fall within our academy hours of Monday to Friday, 08.30am – 15.30pm.

This post is likely to come under the requirements of the Childcare (Disqualification) 2009 Regulations and the successful applicant will be required to complete a declaration form to establish whether they are disqualified under these regulations.

This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act and you will be required to undergo an Enhanced DBS check or Enhanced DBS check with barred list. This post is covered by Part 7 of the Immigration Act and therefore the ability to speak fluent English is an essential requirement for this role.
