The predicted salary is between 28184 - 29980 £ per year.
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, creative and skilled HLTA to join an existing strong team and help us provide the best education and experience possible for our pupils.
Responsibilities
- Work within a year group team, supporting in class and providing PPA cover for the teaching team.
- Work within one year group, with occasional support in another year group.
- When not providing cover, work within class, supporting pupils as required.
Qualifications and experience
- HLTA or Cover Supervisor qualification preferred, but most importantly, experience of covering whole classes is essential.
Hours and pattern
- The role is 6 hours per day (plus 2 hours per week for meetings/prep), 5 days a week.
- Working pattern: Monday to Friday 8:25 – 15:25 (including a 1 hour unpaid lunch break).
- Plus 2 additional hours per week for marking/prep/meetings. The exact pattern for the 2 additional hours will be agreed at interview.
Salary and terms
- Salary – Grade F, Points 12-17, £21,184 - £22,980 actual pa (£28,598 - £31,022 FTE)
- Permanent
- Part Time
- 32 hours per week
- Term Time + 1 week
- Required for May 2026
