We seek an enthusiastic mission-minded priest with a pastoral heart and passion for ministry in parishes at the heart of the Fenlands. You will serve as part of a team in the newly formed Saints Churches, contributing to sustaining existing church life in a creative and missional way. You will assist lay ministers to develop, support and grow existing work among children, young people, families and households, and create innovative community partnerships to form new worshipping communities. You will tailor the message of God to diverse audiences in an approachable manner. The role involves leading both inherited and Fresh Expression models of worship on Sundays and other days, participating in community events, schools ministry, and undertaking weddings, baptisms and funerals as necessary.
Responsibilities
- Lead worship services for multiple parishes.
- Work collaboratively with the Team Rector and other ministry team members.
- Support and grow existing ministry among children, young people, families and households.
- Create innovative community partnerships and identify new and inclusive ways to share the gospel.
- Participate in community events and schools ministry.
- Administer sacraments – weddings, baptisms, funerals – as required.
