A flourishing benefice of fifteen rural parishes seeks a prayerful and collaborative House-for-Duty Associate Priest at an exciting moment of growth and mission. This is a flexible role, shaped around the gifts, experience and calling of the person appointed; well suited to those combining ministry with other work, family life, or a gradual transition toward retirement.
There will be the opportunity to engage in worship, preaching, pastoral care and community presence within a supportive team culture that values lay ministry and shared leadership. As a Benefice, we are developing new initiatives in children’s, families’, and community ministry and we have a clear shared vision of being Church for Everyone.
We offer an excellent House-for-Duty property, strong administrative and safeguarding systems, committed lay leaders, and beautiful rural parishes with scope for imaginative ministry.
