About This Role
St Oswalds CofE Academy is seeking a highly skilled and committed Teaching Assistant (casual hours) with proven experience of supporting pupils in Year 6. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of the Key Stage 2 curriculum, including the demands of end of Key Stage 2 assessment, and be confident in supporting pupils across all areas of English and mathematics. They will be able to deliver targeted interventions, promote independence, and provide effective support to help pupils make strong progress and achieve their full potential. Experience of preparing pupils for SATs and a thorough knowledge of Year 6 expectations would be highly desirable.
