About This Role
Working Hours: 14.5 hours per week
Working Pattern: 2 full days, 1 half day
Working times: Full Day 8:30 – 12:00 (includes 30 minute lunch break) & 13:00 – 15:30, Half Day 8:30 – 12:00 (NOT including 30 minute lunch break)
Key Purpose
To support the learning and well-being of pupils within a designated class, working under the guidance of the class teacher and in line with school policies, curriculum requirements, and professional standards. This includes assisting in the delivery of lessons, promoting positive behaviour, and contributing to the overall development and welfare of the children.
Responsibilities
- Support the planning and delivery of learning activities for pupils in the designated class, following guidance from the class teacher and within the framework of school and national policies.
- Assist with monitoring and recording pupil progress, maintaining accurate assessment information and providing feedback to the teacher, senior staff, and parents/carers in line with school procedures.
