We are looking to appoint an Academy Business Partner to work at both Dunchurch Junior and St Bartholomew's C of E Academies. This is a truly varied role that provides an opportunity to make a difference to children, staff, families and communities. The successful candidate will work side by side with the headteacher as a member of the academy’s leadership team, ensuring the smooth and safe running of the school’s operations.
Working Hours
Full‑time applicants will work across both academies, or two part‑time post holders may cover one academy each with a flexible pattern (e.g. four short days, three full days). Flexibility in hours is available for part‑time roles.
Responsibilities
- Providing senior financial leadership: financial planning, budgeting and reporting to secure financial sustainability.
- Managing staff through effective leadership, fostering team performance, and leading HR initiatives.
- Supporting strategy, facilities management and compliance.
Qualifications
- Highly self‑motivated with a can‑do attitude and the ability to use own initiative.
- Proven budget, finance and people‑management experience.
- Demonstrated leadership of others and effective teamwork skills.
- Experience working in a school environment is beneficial.
- A commitment to creating the right infrastructure to support children and staff.
