About This Role
This role provides additional backfill support to the Trust's HR and Payroll operations during the implementation of a new HR information system and external payroll provider. The work is on a casual basis for approximately 3 days per week, starting as soon as possible after completion of checks and continuing until around October 2026. Applications will be reviewed as they are received and the vacancy may be removed before the final closing date if the roles are filled early.
Both positions require individuals who are IT and database‑literate, capable of maintaining the confidentiality and security of data, with good communication and numeracy skills. The work is flexible in location, with a contractual base at the Trust's St James CofE Academy. The ability to work proactively and use one’s own initiative is essential.
- HR Assistant – Experience within an HR role or an administrative role in an education setting is essential. Good numeracy skills are required.
- Payroll Assistant – Payroll experience and strong numeracy and Excel skills, including VLOOKUP, are required.
