About This Role
The Diocese of Coventry Multi Academy Trust was established in 2013 and is now the home of 22 Church of England academies across Warwickshire and Coventry. Our vision, “together, pursuing life in all its fullness”, is based on John 10:10 and reflects the Church of England’s vision for education. You will see this come to life in all our academies every day.
The role is responsible for ensuring effective administration and minuting of Academy Governance Committee meetings for 6-8 academies across Coventry and Warwickshire, ensuring that they are consistent with Trust wide practice. The Governance Officer – Clerk to AGC’s will report to the Trust Governance Manager but will liaise with the Headteacher and the Academy Governance Committee Chair day to day.
Successful candidates will have the ability to build strong working relationships with a range of internal and external stakeholders. The successful candidate will also have experience of organization and administration of organizational meetings, events and conferences within time and resource constraints. Strong IT skills including word processing, using spreadsheets and presentation software, are required.
