Gloucester Catholic High School is seeking an English teacher for the 2025-26 school year. The position may include the possibility of teaching religion classes. Under the supervision of the Principal, Assistant Principal, and English Department Chair, the position will involve teaching a full course load of five classes for Grades 9-12.
A strong background in English is necessary. A background in Religious Education is preferred, which shows evidence of knowledge of the Catholic philosophy of education; promotes Catholic values; upholds the standards of the Catholic Church; and strives to achieve the goals of Catholic education. The role provides opportunities for the students to be prepared for life in today’s Church and society.
A Bachelor’s Degree is required. NJ Teacher Certificate is preferred. Prior classroom experience is preferred.
The salary range is $38,000 to $45,000 based on level of education and years of experience as per the Gloucester Catholic Teacher’s Contract.
