Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Blackpool for the position of CAP Centre Manager/Pioneer Community Evangelist. The role involves managing and overseeing the operations of the CAP (Christians Against Poverty) Centre, engaging with the local community, and developing innovative outreach initiatives that align with the Diocese’s mission. Qualifications

  • Strong Communication skills, with the ability to engage with diverse communities and stakeholders effectively, and build lasting relationships.
  • Experience in handling and operating Heavy Equipment and Power Tools for specialized projects or community engagements.
  • Knowledge of Explosives Safety and Combat practices, with a focus on discipline, precision, and adherence to safety regulations.
  • Passion for community development, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to addressing financial and social challenges faced by individuals.
  • Proven leadership experience and the ability to inspire and mentor teams to achieve shared goals.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in social work, community development, theology, or a related field.
  • Relevant certifications in safety or equipment operation are an advantage.
