At &Dine, we’re building a community of foodies, connecting authentic and talented food makers to customers who are hungry for better food delivered. We’re looking for a QA / Test Engineer who cares deeply about quality, detail, and food and who wants to help shape a category, not just a product. Someone who enjoys breaking things (thoughtfully), understands how real people use products, and is excited by the idea of shaping the future of corporate eating.
You’ll work closely with product, engineering, and operations to make sure what we ship works seamlessly — from menus and dietary filters to ordering, delivery, and billing.
What you'll be doing
- Own end-to-end manual testing across customer-facing and internal tools
- Lead regression testing ahead of releases
- Test real-world user journeys (ordering food, dietary needs, cut-off times, payments, admin workflows)
- Create and maintain structured test plans, test cases, and release checklists
- Identify edge cases and challenge assumptions early
- Log clear, actionable bugs with reproduction steps and context
- Work closely with engineers to validate fixes
- Help shape and improve our QA process as the platform scales
- Identify where automation adds real value and help introduce it thoughtfully
What we're looking for
- Experience in a QA / Test Engineer or similar role
- Strong understanding of modern web applications and APIs
- A product-led mindset with a sharp eye for detail
- Comfortable in a fast-moving startup environment
- Clear communicator across technical and non-technical teams
- A genuine interest in food, hospitality, or building better workplace experiences
Testing tools and technologies
- Experience with some of the following, or a strong willingness to learn:
- Manual & exploratory testing
- Regression and smoke testing
- User journey and edge-case testing
- Automation & JS-based tools
- Playwright or Cypress for end-to-end testing
- Jest or Vitest for unit or integration tests
- Testing Library for component-level testing
- API testing (Postman, Insomnia)
- Bug tracking and workflow tools (Notion, Linear, GitHub Issues)
- Cross-browser and device testing
- Experience with Selenium is welcome, but we primarily work with modern JavaScript-based testing tools.
Bonus points if you
- Have written or maintained automated tests in a JS / TypeScript codebase
- Have experience testing Vue or other modern JS frameworks
- Have worked on B2B platforms, marketplaces, or operationally complex products
- Care deeply about food, hospitality, and how shared meals bring people together
Benefits to working at &Dine

- Enjoy your birthday. Take a day off for your birthday - on us!
- £500 referral bonuses. If you bring in a new face to the business, once they have passed their probation period, you will receive £500!
- Team socials. We’re big foodies, so you’ll be sure to enjoy some food and drink with us, as well as some great activities!
- Work abroad for 1 week!
