Description: At &Dine, we're building a community of foodies and the UK's most exciting independent Makers, bringing brilliant food into the workplaces that care about how their teams eat, connect and celebrate. We're looking for a Commercial Operations Manager to bring rigour and insight to how we grow. Sitting within Finance and reporting to the CFO, you'll work hand in hand with our commercial team (account managers and salespeople) and support the wider business, giving them the data and analysis they need to focus on the right customers, for the right reasons and finding growth opportunities. This is a role for someone who loves getting under the skin of numbers and turning them into decisions. You'll have real visibility across the business, direct access to senior stakeholders, and genuine influence over where &Dine grows next.
Key Responsibilities:
- Give the commercial team sharper insight. Support account managers and salespeople with the data and analysis they need to make good decisions, helping them understand which customers to focus on, and why.
- Identify the gaps in our growth. Spot where &Dine isn't growing yet, and build the case for how we should be growing, by product, customer or supply.
- Explain the story behind the numbers. Dig into why we're growing strongly in some areas and products, and not in others, so the business is acting on real causes rather than assumptions.
- Track trends across our top-tier customers, flagging which relationships are thriving, which are stagnant, and which are at risk, before it's too late to act.
- Understand our most impactful makers, sharing why some makers generate more growth than others and what we can do to elevate performance across our wider maker community.
- Find the opportunity in our long tail accounts with real potential, and help the commercial team build a plan to unlock it.
Skills, Knowledge and Experience:
- 3+ years' experience in a revenue operations, commercial finance, or analytics role
- Strong analytical skills, confident with Excel and BI / Ai tools, and able to turn messy data into a clear, commercial story
- A natural communicator, credible enough to influence account managers, salespeople and senior stakeholders with insight, not just numbers
- Commercial instinct, where you understand what drives customer growth, retention and churn, not just how to report on it
- Experience working with CRM and pipeline tools (e.g. HubSpot) and building reporting or dashboards
- Structured and process-driven, comfortable operating close to the CFO and senior commercial leadership
- Experience in a marketplace, subscription, or B2B services business is a bonus
The type of person we are looking for:
- Analytical and genuinely curious about what the data is telling you
- Confident working with numbers and with people in equal measure
- Proactive, where you spot the problem, and the opportunity, before anyone asks you to
Benefits of working at &Dine:
- Equity options - become a part-owner of the business
- CharlieHR access, with exclusive discounts from brands like John Lewis and Samsung
- £500 referral bonus for successful hires you introduce
- Team socials - we're serious about food, drink, and great company
- Lunches - regular tastings and lunches in the office!
- Monthly team awards - win month on month for great performance and ownership
