About us: We’re a fast-growing startup on a mission to rethink how food gets to the workplace. By connecting amazing local makers with companies that want to nourish their teams, we’re building a seamless, human-centred food delivery ecosystem for the future. Join us and help shape not just our product, but the design culture that will guide how we build for years to come.
About the role: We’re looking for an ambitious Mid-Level Product Designer who’s excited (not intimidated!) by big problems, fast iteration, and the opportunity to set the bar for great design inside a small team. You will own end-to-end experiences across three key user groups:
- Makers fulfilling and managing orders.
- Employers managing accounts, budgets, and teams.
- Employees discovering and ordering great food.
Your work will directly influence how each of these groups interacts with our platform, and ultimately how well we can scale.
What you'll do:
- Lead product design strategy and execution across complex, multi-sided user journeys.
- Partner closely with product and engineering to shape requirements, define flows, and advocate for user-centred decision-making.
- Conduct lean user research (interviews, quick tests, data-informed iterations) to validate assumptions rapidly.
- Create user journeys, wireframes, prototypes, and simple, elegant design solutions that support fast-paced development.
- Help build our design culture from the ground up: establish lightweight processes, design principles, and early components of a design system.
- Balance vision with pragmatism to iterate quickly and deliver high-impact designs under startup timelines.
- Communicate ideas clearly to teammates and help bring everyone along in a shared understanding of the user experience.
What you'll bring:
- 2+ years of UX/product design experience, ideally in a product-focused role within a startup or fast-moving environment.
- A portfolio showcasing thoughtful, user-centred design work and strong interaction design skills.
- Comfort navigating ambiguity and structuring problems where little structure currently exists.
- Ability to run your own research and test hypotheses quickly.
- Proficiency in tools like Figma (or whatever helps you prototype rapidly).
- Experience working with or creating design systems.
- A collaborative mindset paired with the confidence to champion design best practices across the team.
Nice to have:
- Experience designing for marketplaces or multi-sided platforms.
- Familiarity with food delivery, logistics, or B2B tools.
- Experience complimenting UX research with quantitative data analysis.
Why you'll love working with us:
- Huge ownership: your decisions will have a real, immediate impact.
- A chance to define how design works inside a company that’s still being shaped.
- Direct access to founders and early teammates: your ideas won’t just get heard, they’ll get shipped.
- A mission-driven product with real-world impact for local makers and workplaces.
- Flexible, supportive, and ambitious environment where you can do career-defining work.
