At &Dine, we're building a community of foodies and the UK's most exciting independent Makers, bringing brilliant food into the workplaces that care about how their teams eat, connect and celebrate.
The role
You'll work directly alongside our CEO, close enough that nothing falls through the gaps. This is an execution role - not a diary-management role. Right now, various important business tasks and projects rely too heavily on the CEO, and priorities move slower than they should because coordination keeps coming back to him. Fixing that is the job.
You’ll get your satisfaction from making the machine work. You’ll have high ownership, as you juggle multiple tasks and people, to drive real success across the business.
What you'll own
Execution across the business
- Cross-functional projects that no one else is driving through to completion
- Stakeholder coordination with senior people, holding them to account without creating friction
- Bringing structure to ambiguous problems: breaking them down, building a plan, and driving it to completion
The CEO's operating rhythm
- Turning discussions and decisions into actions with clear owners and deadlines
- Meeting cadence, action tracking, and follow-up systems that keep leadership priorities moving
- Chasing people, surfacing blockers early, and closing loops before they go quiet
Who you are
- Obsessive about follow-through. You're genuinely uncomfortable when actions don't have owners, when things go quiet, or when a decision gets made and nothing happens next. This is who you are, not just a skill you've picked up.
- Quick on the uptake. You absorb context fast across commercial, operational, and strategic topics, understand enough of the business to know what matters, and push work forward without being told twice.
- Trained to bring structure to mess. You've come from an environment - consultancy, banking, or a founder's or CEO's office at a fast-moving company, where taking an ambiguous problem, breaking it down, building a plan, and driving it to completion was the actual job.
- Confident with senior people. You can chase a C-suite exec, ask the awkward follow-up question, and hold people to account without creating friction that slows everything down.
- Looking for this, specifically - you want a high-ownership execution role.
- Can handle ambiguity and are able to stay composed whilst operating in fast moving environment. Multitasking coupled with stakeholder management is a must.
