Catering Manager – Coventry
Β£36,000 per annum | 5 over 7 (Primarily Mon–Fri if fully staffed)

As Catering Manager, you\’ll take the reins of a vibrant and complex catering environment, overseeing multiple services including breakfast, lunch, dinner, night shift meals, vending, and hospitality. You\’ll be the driving force behind a talented 12-strong Compass team, ensuring smooth delivery across all shifts while maintaining top-tier standards in food, compliance, and customer experience.

What You\’ll Do:

  • Lead a multi-shift, 24/7 catering operation – ensure consistency and excellence across all service periods
  • Inspire, train, and manage a team of 11 direct reports – setting the standard in food safety, site inductions, and e-learning compliance
  • Deliver exceptional food and service that meets the expectations of up to 1,500 daily site users
  • Own the P&L – manage budgets and costs while keeping standards sky high
  • Build a strong on-site presence – working closely with the client to uphold partnership goals and food service excellence

Who We\’re Looking For:

  • Previous experience in contract catering – ideally in a busy, high-volume site
  • Craft-trained culinary background (essential)
  • Proven track record as a Chef Manager or Catering Manager
  • Confident leading large teams across multiple shift patterns
  • Strong compliance knowledge and ability to coach others
  • Financially savvy with solid P&L understanding
