Role Overview: In this role, the successful Business Development Manager will be responsible for actively sourcing new businesses and helping to develop other business activities with the Company with the objective of increasing revenue and improving profitability. Your role is imperative to building new business relationships that will ultimately lead to the expansion of the business nationwide.
Key Responsibilities- Sales: Explore and identify new business tendering opportunities in order to secure and grow the business.
- Networking: Participate in targeted networking events and conferences to make new business connections.
- Promotion: Of the Dincer working model using the most appropriate features and benefits based on clients' needs with a tailored solution.
- Identify business areas: Active search for short- and long-term business opportunities through tenders.
- Sales Plan: Creation of a local business sales plan and expansion of the local presence for all logistics and service offerings.
- Increase sales: Establish the local value proposition and work closely with the product organisation to increase sales and optimise P&L for the product.
- Tenders: Responding to tenders and requests for information in a timely manner.
- Coordination: Organise teams globally across functions, products, and geographies to improve the overall customer experience.
- Contract Compliance: Ensuring effective contract fulfilment and implementation of new business relationships.
- Announcement of the company to local decision-makers in the country and globally who have an influence on the outcome of international tenders.
- Strategic planning: Align business development to gain access to decision-makers, stakeholders, and other influencers across the client organisation.
- 3+ years of business development experience.
- Proven track record in sales and business development.
- Excellent communication skills and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or related field.
- Sales experience record in logistics or supply chain.
- Proven successful experience in developing new business and expanding client base in warehouse/logistics/transportation.
- Ability to travel if required.
