We are looking for a highly detail-oriented Accounting Senior Specialist to join our Finance team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate accounting records, regulatory compliance, reconciliations, and timely financial processing while actively contributing to process improvements and finance-related projects.
The Role:
- Record and reconcile cash, bank, cheque and promissory note transactions
- Prepare and submit statutory tax declarations accurately and on time
- Perform customer and supplier account reconciliations
- Record payroll, accruals, depreciation and period-end entries
- Issue sales invoices and record approved purchase invoices
- Upload e-Ledgers and manage certification processes
- Monitor loan transactions and ensure posting accuracy
- Maintain accounting master data (accounts, cost centres, etc.)
- Support audits and ensure financial data accuracy
- Contribute to finance process improvement initiatives and system development projects
- Participate in cross-functional projects aimed at increasing efficiency, automation, and reporting quality
The Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in related fields (Preferably in accounting or finance)
- Minimum 5 years of accounting experience
- Strong knowledge of statutory reporting and tax processes
- Experience with reconciliations, accrual accounting and financial controls
- Proficiency in accounting software (Preferably in XERO) and MS Office
- Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail
- Ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment
