Job Description
As a Host/Receptionist at Din Tai Fung UK, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring that their dining experience starts with a warm welcome and exceptional service. Your main responsibilities will include:
- Welcome and seat guests, setting a friendly tone and guiding them through our menu
- Coordinate bookings and walk-ins through our CRM system, arranging seating and supporting special requests alongside our team
- Assist with guest payments and respond to inquiries while upholding our health, safety, and cleanliness standards
- Help buss the tables and maintain an organised venue, ensuring it’s set up for smooth service with light lifting and rearranging as needed
Who You Are
We’re looking for a Host/Receptionist who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and is passionate about delivering exceptional customer service. Ideally, you will have:
- Experience in a Host/Receptionist or front-of-house role in a fast-paced restaurant or hospitality environment
- A friendly and outgoing personality with excellent communication skills and a passion for providing outstanding guest experiences
- The ability to stay calm, composed, and adaptable under pressure, while maintaining efficient service and ensuring smooth operations in a busy and high-energy setting
- A keen interest in building a career in hospitality, with a strong passion for learning and developing your skills
- Flexible availability to work full time, including weekends, evenings, and holidays, with shifts that may run as late as 11:30PM
