As a Wok Chef at Din Tai Fung UK, you will play a crucial role in supporting our back kitchen team and ensuring smooth service:
- Prepare, cook, and serve high-quality wok dishes, noodle dishes, and appetisers
- Maintain high standards of food hygiene, stock rotation, and kitchen cleanliness
- Train and support junior kitchen team members
- Ensure consistency, portion control, and fast service in a high-volume kitchen
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a Chef de Partie, Wok Chef, Noodle Chef, or Commis Chef role
- Worked in an Asian kitchen, Taiwanese restaurant, Chinese restaurant, or other pan-Asian cuisine
- Understand traditional Chinese cooking techniques (wok hei, noodle pulling, etc.)
- Have strong knife skills, excellent prep technique, and kitchen discipline
- Are motivated, reliable, and looking for a long-term chef career with us
- Flexible availability to work full time, including weekends, evenings, and holidays, with shifts that may run as late as 10:30 PM

Competitive Pay: Hourly rates (including troncs) start at £15, rising to £16~£20 once qualified
Working Week: 5 days per week on a rota basis throughout Monday to Sunday; night shifts may run as late as 10:30 PM
Contracted Hours: 40~48 hours per week
