Main Purpose

The role involves support across the 4 key pillars of Finance : Commercial, Operations, Control and FP&A. The role provides the ideal development platform to understand how all areas of Finance fit together with the wider business. The role blends financial analysis, accounting, report generation to support the actionable insights and business partnering that occurs across Finance

Responsibilities

• Support the quarterly forecast and budget process, including the preparation of divisional and Group reporting templates, checking data integrity of loads and consolidating the divisional inputs
• Support the year end audit process for Group reporting
• Prepare ad-hoc reporting to support the Finance Leadership Team
• Support the annual standard costing update
• Prepare and analyse daily, weekly, and monthly operational performance reports.
• Track key operational KPIs and provide analysis to site operational leads
• Support continuous improvement initiatives, including lean manufacturing
• Enhance financial models, dashboards, and reporting tools
• Support ERP data integrity and system upgrades related to manufacturing finance
• Collaborate with other finance teams on both project and operational tasks
• Develop monthly, quarterly, and annual financial forecasts and budgets
• Assist in financial decisions, margin analysis, and scenario modelling
• Identify opportunities to streamline financial processes and reporting
• Support month-end close activities, including balance sheet reconciliations and consolidation

Skills, Knowledge and Experience

ESSENTIAL

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Excel and financial modelling.
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving mindset, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work independently to analyse and solve problems
• Excellent verbal & written capabilities

DESIRABLE

• Experience with SAP or similar ERPs
• Degree or similar qualification
