Thanks to our amazing teams, Dimensions Group has been accredited as a Great Place to Work for 2026—our eighth consecutive year of recognition.

About the role

Join a vibrant and caring team where you’ll support 3 individuals in their 30s and 50s in their home, as well as providing support to a lady who lives close by independently within her own home. These individuals, who have learning disabilities, are supported to live independently and have formed a close-knit bond, offering care and support to one another.

  • Creative & Active: They enjoy singing in a choir, participating in Zumba classes, and expressing their creativity through pottery.
  • Adventure Seekers: Travel is a big passion for them, with France, Greece, and Australia at the top of their bucket list!
  • Independent but Appreciative: While they manage their personal care routines independently, they value friendly reminders and motivation.

What Will You Be Doing?

As a Relief Support Worker, you will play a vital role in helping these individuals live their lives to the fullest:

  • Empowering Independence: Support them to achieve their goals and live life how they choose.
  • Daily Living Support: Assist with medication, meal preparation, and domestic tasks like cooking, cleaning, and laundry.
  • Encouraging Active Lives: Be involved in their interests and activities, from choir practices to planning their next holiday adventure.
  • Driving Support: With a Motability car, you’ll need to be comfortable driving as part of your role.

Shifts: Shifts typically start at 10am one day and finish at 10am the following day, including a sleep-in. There are also day shifts that vary in length depending on the activities planned. The additional support for the lady would be 5 hours a day over 4 shifts and the lady you are supporting will manage these shifts with you, depending on her needs.

Flexible Scheduling: We’re looking for individuals who can work a mix of these shifts across weekdays, weekends, and bank holidays.

Work-Life Balance: Rotas are provided 4 weeks in advance to help you maintain a healthy balance between work and life – something we truly value!

Rewards that make a difference:

  • A competitive pay rate with uplift for overtime you choose to work
  • Flexible shift patterns to suit your needs
  • 30 days paid Annual Leave (including public holidays – pro rata)
  • Opportunities for career progression
  • Supported ‘Learn to Drive’ scheme (up to 30 driving lessons, 1 theory/practical test - all paid for by us)
  • We offer a salary advance scheme where you can access up to 50% of the money you've earned before payday.
  • High Street Discounts – Retail and Entertainment (supermarkets, hospitality, pubs, cinema etc.)
