Join Our Team as an Experienced Support Worker in Newcastle!
Location: Newcastle, NE5 (Just a 6-minute drive from Kingston Park Stadium)
Pay: £13.54ph
Positions: Part-Time (Up to 30 hours per week)

About the People We Support
We support a sociable young gentleman in his 30s who has a great sense of humour and loves:
- Swimming and bowling
- Going to the cinema and dining out
- Slapstick humor and playing with plastic guns
- Spending time with family, especially his Mum and Dad
He has a learning disability and autism. Your role will include providing emotional reassurance during moments of distress, with full positive behaviour support training provided.

What Will You Be Doing?
Empowering Independence: Help him live his life the way he chooses, achieve his goals, and be himself.
Daily Support: Assist with food shopping, bill payments, and domestic tasks like cooking, cleaning, and laundry.
Providing Care: Administer medication, offer occasional wheelchair assistance during outings, and provide varying degrees of personal care.
Shift Patterns
- Long Day Sleep-In Shifts: 9am – 9am the following day
- Day Shifts: 9am – 6pm
- Sleep-Ins: 10pm – 8am (Paid to Sleep)
We provide rotas at least 4 weeks in advance to support a healthy work-life balance, which we’re very passionate about!
