About the Role
Waking Night Support Worker
Ormesby, Norfolk
£12.64 per hour
Full time (37.5) or part time (20 hours available)
We’re looking for Waking Night Support Workers to join our friendly team in Ormesby, Norfolk. We have both part-time roles (2 waking nights per week) or full-time roles (4 waking nights per week). All waking night shifts run from 21:00 to 07:00 (10 hours). You will be supporting three gentlemen in their 50s and 60s who live together in a supported living home. They each have complex health needs, including PEG and stoma care, so confidence or willingness to learn personal care, moving and assisting (including hoists) and PEG feeding is essential. As these roles are waking nights, a driving licence is not essential. However, public transport options are limited at these hours, so being able to reliably get to and from work is important, and driving may be easier.

About You
You’ll share our values of Ambition, Courage, Integrity, Partnership, and Respect, and bring a patient, person-centred approach to everything you do. You’ll be:

  • Calm under pressure.
  • Adaptable to changing needs.
  • Empathetic and professional.

You’ll be willing to learn specialist skills and comfortable using technology for record-keeping.
