Are you experienced in supporting adults with learning disabilities? Join our innovative team based in Tondu Bridgend where you can lead by example, enjoy an excellent training programme, strong career progression – and deliver outstanding support through the unique ‘Activate’ model, proven to make a measurable difference to people’s lives and your professional satisfaction.

We are looking for an amazing support worker to join one of our homes in Bridgend. You will be part of a strong team focused on making the biggest difference to the lives of four fantastic gentlemen, aged from their late 20s to 40s, who are full of fun and personality.

Responsibilities

  • Support adults with learning disabilities in daily living activities and personal care, including mobility assistance when needed.
  • Help develop daily living skills and support with medical administration as required.
  • Engage in a range of activities such as walks, social clubs, dancing, arts and crafts, swimming, gym sessions, and trips to farms.
  • Facilitate participation in activities and outings that align with individual preferences (e.g., different interests and hobbies).
  • Be flexible and adapt to changing daily routines as part of a supportive team.

Requirements and qualifications

  • An enhanced DBS disclosure is required for this role, the cost of which will be incurred by Dimensions.
