About the role

You\’ll support six adults (four women and two men, aged 50s-80s) with learning disabilities, autism, Down syndrome and complex needs in a warm, busy supported-living home. The people you support enjoy music sessions, dancing, crafting, puzzles, cinema trips, nature walks and social outings. Your work will include personal care, wheelchair support, medication, meal prep, shopping, cooking and maintaining a safe, homely environment. A confident driver is needed to support outings using a transit-sized vehicle. Shifts include

– Day: 7:00 AM – 9:30 PM

– Day: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM

– Day: 2:30 PM – 9:30 PM

– Sleep-In: 10:00 PM – 7:00 AM (Paid Β£50 to sleep)

About you

You\’re calm, patient and reliable, with the confidence to support people with varied needs. You enjoy meaningful daily routines, community activities and encouraging independence. A female Support Worker is required due to personal care needs. A manual driving licence is essential.
