Join Our Team as a Female Support Worker in Newbury!

Pay: £11.55 per hour (£45 per Sleep-In Shift)

Position: Full-Time (37.5 hours per week)

Location: Newbury, RG19 (Just a 6 min drive from Newbury Train Station!)

Who Will I Be Supporting?

This is an opportunity to work at a respite support service with 6 rooms for individuals who stay for a short duration, ranging from a weekend to several months. We support individuals with learning disabilities, autism, and complex health needs. Maintaining close relationships with their families is essential.

You will support individuals in their interests, such as:

  • Cinema trips
  • Swimming
  • Day trips to the zoo
  • Going on holidays

What Will You Be Doing?

  • Empowering Independence: Support people to live their lives how they choose and achieve their goals.
  • Daily Living Support: Provide varying levels of personal care, meal preparation, medication, shopping, cooking, cleaning, and laundry.
  • Providing Care: Support individuals with health needs such as stoma care, PEG feeding, epilepsy, and more.

Flexible Shift Patterns

  • Day Shifts: 7:00am - 2:30pm
  • Day Sleep-Ins Shifts: 2:30pm - 7am the following day (Includes £45 sleep-in shift)
  • Sleep-In Shifts: 10pm – 7am (Paid To Sleep)

This role involves working both weekdays and weekends. Rotas are provided in advance to support a healthy work-life balance.
