The Communications and Events Officer will be responsible for organising group-wide events, both remote and face-to-face. This includes developing event materials and supporting the marketing and communications team with content creation and marketing collateral as required.
About the role:
- Lead the development of the organisation’s event strategy, including setting objectives and success measures.
- Plan and deliver all external and internal events, considering venues, materials, speakers, content, reviews, budget, and timelines.
- Manage event collateral, including distribution and collection of feedback.
- Conduct post-event evaluations and produce reports for stakeholders.
About you:
- Experience in communications, events, or a similar field, or relevant equivalent experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a strong grasp of grammar.
- Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing workloads.
- Experience working within a large, complex, and multi-site organisation.
