The Communications and Events Officer will be responsible for organising group-wide events, both remote and face-to-face. This includes developing event materials and supporting the marketing and communications team with content creation and marketing collateral as required.

About the role:

  • Lead the development of the organisation’s event strategy, including setting objectives and success measures.
  • Plan and deliver all external and internal events, considering venues, materials, speakers, content, reviews, budget, and timelines.
  • Manage event collateral, including distribution and collection of feedback.
  • Conduct post-event evaluations and produce reports for stakeholders.

About you:

  • Experience in communications, events, or a similar field, or relevant equivalent experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a strong grasp of grammar.
  • Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing workloads.
  • Experience working within a large, complex, and multi-site organisation.
