About the role Support Worker Full time - 37.5 hours per week Norton Subcourse, NR14 Full UK manual driving licence and own car essential.

We are looking for a caring, reliable, and enthusiastic Support Worker to join our team supporting two gentlemen in their home.

The men we support are passionate about getting out and enjoying life.

Whether it is swimming, visiting the zoo, heading out for countryside walks, enjoying family time, going on picnics, or relaxing in the hot tub at home, you will play a vital role in helping them enjoy the interests that matter most to them.

Both gentlemen require support to live fulfilling and active lives, with staff providing encouragement, companionship, and practical assistance throughout the day.

This is a hands-on role where you will provide full personal care, medication support, assistance with meals and support with daily routines.

One of the gentlemen uses a wheelchair full-time, so you will need to be comfortable pushing a wheelchair over longer distances when accessing the community.

Meal preparation is an important part of this role.

The people we support receive weekly Hello Fresh deliveries, so you will need to be confident cooking from scratch and preparing nutritious meals using fresh ingredients to support their health and wellbeing.

This home offers a mixture of shared working and lone working, so you will need to be able to work confidently both independently and as part of a team.

Shift Pattern - This home operates a two-week rolling rota and includes 9:00am - 10:00pm, 1-2 sleep-ins per week and alternate weekends.

About You You do not need previous care experience to be successful with Dimensions; however, you do need the right values, a positive attitude and a genuine desire to make a difference.

We are looking for someone who: Holds a full UK manual driving licence.

Has access to their own vehicle for travelling to work.

Is happy to drive the vehicles belonging to the people we support (manual and automatic).

Are confident cooking meals from scratch using fresh ingredients.

Is comfortable providing full personal care and medication support.

Can work independently during lone-working shifts.

Enjoys being active and supporting people in the community.

Has excellent communication skills and a patient, person-centred approach.
