Dimensions is proud to be one of very few social care organisations that are accredited by the Great Places To Work programme in 2025 – now 6 years in a row! This is a hybrid role for an Accounts Payable Administrator to work in office minimum 2 days a week (days to be agreed).

The Accounts Payable Administrator is responsible for supporting the day-to-day operation of the accounts payable function. This role involves managing the payments inbox, scanning in invoices, handling payment queries, sending remittances where required, gaining management approval for ad hoc payments, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring all incoming post and supplier documentation is actioned promptly and efficiently. The successful candidate must be based in the Reading area, as the role requires travel to the Dimension head office in Theale twice a week.

Your main duties will include:

  • Manage and maintain the accounts payable/payments inbox.
  • Scan and upload supplier invoices onto the finance system (Oracle).
  • Review invoices and identify relevant purchase order (PO) numbers using external software systems, document on invoice and scan in.
  • Process ad hoc payments - Immediate payment requests, ensuring all documentation and approvals are received to file for immediate payments (outside of main payment runs).

The successful applicant will have:

  • Experience of working within Accounts Payables.
  • Able to work in a highly organised, logical way, with a practical approach and able to prioritise.
  • Experience of meeting targets and deadlines.
  • Able to communicate effectively at all levels (both orally and in writing) and to build effective working relationships internally and externally.
