Support Workers

Support Workers

Full-Time No working from home possible
Dimensions (UK) Ltd.

Responsibilities

You will support three gentlemen in their 50s and 60s who live together and enjoy a calm, structured home environment. Each person has complex health needs, including PEG feeding and stoma care. You will be confident in supporting personal care, moving and assisting (including hoisting), and managing specialist health routines.

You will work on a 1:1 basis but always as part of a three-person team on shift, creating a safe, supportive environment. You will help them enjoy scenic drives around Norfolk, music and sensory sessions, and regular boat trips on the Broads—moments that bring real joy and that you will help make possible.

You will support day-to-day routines and encourage independence in ways that are respectful, empowering, and tailored to each individual. Shifts are flexible and shaped around the people you support, generally including a mix of long days (7 am – 10 pm), early shifts (7 am – 2:30 pm), late shifts (2:30 pm – 10 pm), and sleep‑ins. You will also take part in a fair rolling rota with alternate weekends.

Qualifications

We’re looking for compassionate, dedicated Support Workers to join our welcoming team in Ormesby, Norfolk. A full UK driving licence is essential. You should bring a calm, patient, and adaptable approach, and feel confident responding to changing needs with empathy and professionalism.

Strong communication skills are essential—both verbal and non‑verbal—as is the ability to really listen and understand the people you support. You should feel comfortable supporting personal care and complex health needs, be open to learning new specialist skills, and be confident using technology to keep accurate records. Most importantly, you should have the passion and commitment to support people to live rich, fulfilling lives on their own terms.
