Overview
We support some social butterflies who love to catch up with friends and family and enjoy dancing and drama. We also support people who prefer a quieter life spending time with animals, pampering themselves and watching movies. The people we support have learning disabilities, autism, additional needs and we are supporting them to live their lives as independently as possible within their own homes. Friendly, patient and reliable support workers who take an active interest in their hobbies and activities would be wonderful matches.
What will I be doing? You will be supporting people to live their lives how they choose, to be themselves and to achieve their personal goals. Support can include varying degrees of personal care, medication administration, budgeting, cooking, cleaning, and laundry. Supporting with hobby related activities like cinema, bowling, meeting friends, etc. \”Gender is considered to be a genuine occupational requirement in accordance with paragraph 1 of Schedule 9 of the Equality Act 2010. Shift patterns
Short days, long days, 2 out of 4 weekends. We\\\’re looking for people with the flexibility to work a combination of shifts on a rota basis. Rotas are provided at least 4 weeks in advance to support a healthy work / life balance – something we\\\’re passionate about!
