Are you an experienced support worker ready for your next role? We\’re looking for a skilled and compassionate Support Worker to join our well-established supported living home in Greenford. This is not an entry-level position, we\’re seeking someone who brings hands on experience in supporting individuals with complex needs and is confident working in a structured, person-centred environment.
You\’ll be part of a dedicated team supporting three gentlemen who each live in their own flats within one building. All require 24-hour support, delivered on a rota basis. We support autistic people and people with learning disabilities, behaviours of distress and complex health needs. Two of the gentlemen do not use words to communicate, so you must be confident using alternative communication approaches tailored to each person.
Why choose us over other providers? At our organisation, you\’re more than just a member of staff, you\’re part of a values-driven team committed to truly personalised support. We offer:
- A strong, consistent team culture, where your voice matters.
- Ongoing training and development tailored to your role and career ambitions.
- A supportive management team who are invested in your wellbeing and professional growth.
- Opportunities to work meaningfully, helping the individuals you support to live rich, full lives in their community.
What can you expect from the role?
- A role where you\’ll build long-term, trusting relationships.
- Day-to-day responsibilities include supporting personal care, meal planning and preparation, promoting independence, and managing routines through an online planner.
- Helping the individuals engage with their interests – from swimming, theatre, and countryside drives to days out at the zoo, docks, or local farms.
- Working flexibly across all three flats, delivering 2:1 support during the day and 1:1 overnight.
We\’re looking for someone calm under pressure, confident in managing behaviours of distress, and able to respond to evolving needs with empathy. A background in supporting individuals with complex communication or behavioural needs is essential. If you\’re passionate about making a lasting impact and want to grow your career in a supportive, person-led environment – we\’d love to hear from you.
We offer:
- A salary advance scheme where you can access up to 50% of the money you\’ve earned before payday.
- Competitive Pay
- Shopping Discounts
- Career Development
- Recognition and Awards
- Supportive Culture
- Pension Scheme
- Employee Assistance Programme (EAP)
- An enhanced DBS disclosure will be required for this role, the cost of which will be incurred by Dimensions.
