Overview

We\\\’re looking for a caring, patient and values-driven Support Worker to join our team in RG41, supporting three gentlemen aged 30s-40s with autism and learning disabilities. This is a warm, sociable home where each person has their own routines, interests and independence levels. Support is provided through a mix of 1:1 and shared support, depending on each individual\\\’s needs and activities.

    Very independent and enjoys leading his own routines
    Talented artist – loves drawing
    Enjoys PlayStation and creative downtime
  • Gent 2 – Social & Energetic
    Loves dancing and socialising
    Enjoys bowling and visits to restaurants
    Thrives with upbeat, encouraging support
  • Gent 3 – Fun & Outgoing
    Loves classic TV competitions (especially Who Wants to Be a Millionaire)
    Enjoys football, bowling, gym sessions and meals out
    Active and enjoys getting out into the community

Family involvement: Family is heavily involved, so strong communication, respect and consistency are essential.

This role is varied and rewarding, with opportunities to support each person to lead a fulfilled and confident life.

  • Providing personal care (for 1 gentleman)
  • Supporting with daily routines and independence
  • Offering friendly, patient emotional support

  • Administering medication for 1 individual

Shift patterns

This is a 22.5-hour mixed-shift role, including:

  • 7:00am – 2:30pm
  • 2:30pm – 10:00pm

Rotas are shared in advance to support a positive work-life balance. Sleep-ins may occasionally be required (Β£50 per sleep-in).
