We’re looking for a calm, confident and caring Female Support Worker to join our small, friendly team in SY2, supporting two women in their 50s–60s with learning disabilities and additional health needs. This is a rewarding role where consistency, patience and relationship‑building are key. One lady may take a little longer to warm to new staff, so we’re looking for someone who brings reassurance, warmth and reliability to every shift.

Responsibilities

  • Support two ladies with a range of needs, including learning disabilities, epilepsy, dementia and non‑insulin dependent diabetes.
  • Assist with daily routines and personal care, such as assistance with toileting, dressing and hygiene.
  • Prepare meals and support healthy eating choices.
  • Administer medication and monitor health conditions.
  • Offer reassurance and emotional support, encouraging independence and confidence.
  • Help the women with walks, cinema trips and other social activities.
  • Work closely with colleagues to provide consistent, person‑centred care.

Shift Patterns

  • Flexible hours available up to 45 per week.
  • Long days: 10:00 am – 8:00 pm.
  • Early shifts: 7:00 am – 3:00 pm.
  • Late shifts: 3:00 pm – 10:00 pm.
  • Sleep‑ins: 10:00 pm – 7:00 am (£50 paid to sleep).

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Right to work in the UK.

  • If a driving licence is required, you will need to provide this at the onboarding stage.
