Support Worker (Full Time)
We are looking for a Support Worker to join our team, working across Norwich, Acle, Caister-on-Sea and Ormesby.
The position is full time – 37.5 hours per week – and involves supporting adults with learning disabilities, autism and a range of support needs in six supported living homes and two outreach services.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop greater independence and life skills for clients.
- Support clients to access their local communities and pursue hobbies and interests.
- Maintain relationships with family and friends.
- Help clients manage their finances and daily routines.
- Assist with attending appointments and medication where required.
- Support clients in maintaining their homes and personal spaces.
- Work with clients to achieve outcomes that are important to them.
- Provide cover and consistency across multiple homes, working closely with established teams.
- Use basic IT systems and complete support records accurately.
Qualifications and Experience
- Full UK driving licence – essential for travelling between homes.
- Experience in social care is welcome but not essential.
- A positive, reliable and adaptable approach to teamwork.
- Comfortable working across multiple homes and with a diverse group of people.
- Passionate about enabling people to reach their goals and aspirations.
- Confident building relationships with colleagues, families and professionals.
- Willingness to learn and embrace a person‑centred approach.
- Ability to work independently and use initiative when required.
