The post holder will be part of the Quality, Governance and Lived Experience team and be responsible for the assessment, planning, communication and implementation of health and wellbeing promotion activities for the people we support. The post holder will work to ensure the health and wellbeing of those we support is maximised through preventative health care and research-based, exemplar support that is based on personalised outcomes in the person themselves, partnership with family, friends and health professionals.
Responsibilities:
- Active liaison with relevant stakeholders both within and outside Dimensions including maintaining links with national health initiatives, charities, Government organisations and University research projects.
- Developing and reviewing policies and health associated supported documents and maintaining the Dimensions Health and Wellbeing Intranet library.
- Responsibility for developing sustainable Wellbeing and health promotion within the organisation.
- Evaluate and review the effectiveness of the health and wellbeing group to support the strategic direction and roll out of future projects.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Psychology, Health Studies, Sports Science, Healthcare Science or equivalent qualification in which data analysis and interpretation forms a core part (HND, NVQ 4 and above).
- Possess a good understanding of the Health and Wellbeing strategy.
- Positive track record of management in the social or health care field.
- Possess excellent work planning and prioritisation skills to optimise performance through responsiveness and flexibility.
