Overview

We are looking for a Female Support Worker to join our supported living home in Hemel Hempstead, where you will be supporting one woman to live the life she chooses, active, independent, and confident. She enjoys yoga, dancing, swimming, relaxed trips for coffee and cake, and spending time out in her local area. Your role is to be alongside her as she enjoys the things that bring her joy, while also supporting with daily living skills, personal care, mobility needs, and medication. What matters most is helping her stay present to the people, places and routines that matter in her life. This is a lone-working role, with shifts running from 8am-10pm, followed by sleep-ins. You will work weekends and bank holidays on a rota basis. You\\\’ll need a full UK manual driving licence, as driving is an essential part of maintaining her independence and daily routines.

We will provide training, including the Care Certificate, paid learning opportunities, and financial bonuses for completing recognised qualifications. With Dimensions, you will always be supported to grow.

Responsibilities

  • Support one woman to live independently, participate in activities she enjoys, and stay present to meaningful routines.
  • Assist with daily living skills, personal care, mobility needs, and medication.
  • Be alongside her as she enjoys the things that bring her joy, providing reliable and compassionate support.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Full UK manual driving licence (driving is an essential part of maintaining independence and daily routines).
  • Experience is not essential; values, reliability and enthusiasm are important. Training provided, including Care Certificate.
  • Willingness to participate in Aspire and Dimensions Academy for growth; educational and career development opportunities available.
