This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive home where you will be supporting three women aged between their 20s and 70s, with a fourth person moving in soon. You will be part of a wider support team, ensuring consistency and high-quality support, with at least two team members on shift together during key parts of the day.

Responsibilities

  • Support each resident with full personal care, including bathing, toileting, dressing and medication administration.
  • Prepare and serve meals, follow safer eating guidance and manage modified diets.
  • Encourage and support independence where possible.
  • Assist with manual handling using a hoist and occasional wheelchair support.
  • Maintain accurate records and support care plans to achieve the best outcomes for the residents.
  • Coordinate and escort residents to social activities such as shopping, lunches, discos, theatre trips, live music, holidays, spa treatments and other outings.
  • Manage a rolling two-week rota that includes early shifts (8 am–2 pm), late shifts (2 pm–8 pm) and longer days that can extend to 10 pm with a sleep-in; commit to at least one sleep-in per week and alternate weekends.

Qualifications

  • No previous experience is required; full training will be provided.
  • Candidates must hold a full UK manual driving licence and be able to travel to the home location.
  • The role is female only.
