Shift Schedule: Long Day with Sleep-In: 9:00 AM - 9:00 AM (next day). 2:1 Support: 9:00 AM - 8:00 PM (daily), 9:00 AM - 9:00 PM (Thursdays). Sleep-In Shifts: 1-2 per week. Driver Requirement: Auto-friendly licence essential.

Supporting Individuals: You'll be supporting a gentleman in his 30s who lives with autism, a learning disability, and sensory processing difficulties. He has a Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) plan in place, and training will be provided to ensure you feel confident and supported in your role. Support is provided on a 1:1 basis, with 2:1 support every day between 9:00 AM and 8:00 PM. He is very sociable, loves a good laugh, and enjoys feeling included in what's going on around him. His family is very involved and visits regularly, with strong partnership working in place.

What Will You Be Doing?

  • Providing Personal Care: Supporting with daily routines and hygiene.
  • Promoting Independence: Encouraging choice and autonomy in daily life.
  • Supporting Behavioural Needs: Following a PBS plan and using positive behaviour support strategies (training provided).
  • Planning Activities: Creatively supporting new experiences and community engagement.

BSL Support: British Sign Language (BSL) translated videos are available for all of our recruitment communications.
