Lead Support Worker – Worthing (BN11)

In this Worthing home, you’ll support five adults with a range of health and physical support needs. The people we support enjoy getting out and about to concerts, fairgrounds, amusement parks and zoos, as well as eating out, gardening, cooking, sensory activities and games.
About the role
You’ll work alongside the Locality Manager and Assistant Locality Manager to provide high-quality, person-centred support while coaching and mentoring other Support Workers.
Your role will include:
- Supporting people to build independence, develop skills and achieve personal goals
- Providing support with personal care, medication, meals, shopping and everyday routines
- Encouraging choice, participation and involvement in the local community
- Coaching colleagues, sharing good practice and providing constructive feedback
- Building positive relationships with families, colleagues and wider circles of support
