This role sits in the EMEA Events team and forms part of the Corporate Services department. The Corporate Services department goes above and beyond to provide clients, employees, and visitors with an exceptional experience each and every time they step into a Dimensional facility.

This position supports the planning, development, management and execution of events that support the firm’s strategic goals. Dimensional events are an integral part of both our internal training and personnel development, as well as our go-to market strategy for new business and client relationship development. A successful candidate must have knowledge of corporate events planning, contracting, managing multiple workstreams to strict deadlines and across multiple time-zones, coordination of events in auditoriums, boardrooms and conference rooms.

Responsibilities:
  • Support our Events Team to develop and deliver inspiring conferences throughout EMEA and the UK with a total commitment to ensuring an outstanding client experience.
  • Take responsibility of the contract, plan and execution phases of both small and large scale events.
  • Coordinate logistics for internal learning sessions and multi-regional events, including audio/visual services, food and beverage, décor, and vendor management.
  • Coordinate, manage and execute logistical components related to virtual event broadcasts facilitated through GlobalMeet and Zoom.
  • Hands-on involvement and service-minded attitude from pre-event management to post-event follow through.
  • Manage and adhere to the event calendar and timelines.
  • Create and manage custom websites using Cvent’s software.
  • Ensure quality control for all conference deliverables, including proofreading and design.
  • Maintain Microsoft Dynamics and Artifax databases to ensure current event data and attendance are accurately recorded.
Desirable Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent, in hospitality, communications, or a related field is preferred.
  • Previous experience in a corporate or hospitality event planning position.
  • Exceptional customer service skills, interpersonal skills and a positive “can do” attitude.
  • Ability to work with C-level executives.
  • Team player who enjoys a collaborative environment but is also an independent thinker capable of working off their own initiative.
  • Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously, with a high attention to detail, meeting often tight deadlines.
  • Demonstrated problem solver who thrives on helping others.
  • Flexibility to adapt quickly to changing needs and priorities, effectively prioritising workload.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills – both verbal and written.
  • Strong computer skills (MS Office, MS Power BI, MS Dynamics, Cvent, GlobalMeet, Zoom) with the ability to learn programs as needed.
  • Knowledge of broadcast services and the financial industry recommended.
  • Minimal travel.
