Job Description
Analyst/Associate, ETF Capital Markets
The ETF Capital Markets team is the key point of contact for both investors and the trading community for all things trading related to the growing lineup of Dimensional’s ETFs.
The team assists with new product launches, trading activity monitoring, competitive and market analysis, new business development and client support.
As part of the growing ETF business at Dimensional, the Capital Markets Analyst/Associate will work with a variety of stakeholders across the firm to support the expanding suite of ETF investment solutions.
Responsibilities will include supporting the primary and secondary markets and monitoring market quality of the ETFs.
Responsibilities
- Provide support to ETF Market Makers, Authorized Participants, ETF Sales & Trading Desks, and Data Providers to facilitate a seamless trading environment
- Guide the build out of surveillance and analytical tools to advance market quality monitoring
- Maintain all relevant ETF reporting for internal stakeholders.
- Collaborate with portfolio management team and the street on all ETF creation, redemption, pricing, rebalancing and corporate action issues.
- Maintain relationships with listing exchanges
- Manage listing process
- Serve as Subject Matter Expert to Dimensional internal stakeholders in providing ongoing education, updates and facts about our ETFs.
- Monitor and analyze regulatory filings, third party research, news reports and companies relevant to our funds or direct competitors.
- Educate market participants on products, valuation, construction, and trading.
- Completeness and accuracy for all daily tasks.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent, is preferred.
- Relevant financial services experience; prior experience in an ETF capital markets role is highly desired.
- Strong philosophical alignment with Dimensional’s investment strategy.
- Advanced quantitative problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong Excel skills with the ability to manipulate large data sets.
- A solid working knowledge of Python/other programming languages.
- The ability to deal with transactional aspects, including but not limited to: NAV oversight and fund accounting assistance, outsourced vendors, Exchanges and AP queries.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills to articulate investment concepts to a variety of audience types.
- Self-starter capable of managing multiple projects and meeting deadlines.
- Ability to resolve problems effectively while exercising independent judgement.
- Eagerness to learn and responsive to constructive feedback and guidance.
