Overview
The Finance Department engages with the firm’s key decision-makers and delivers considered support and analysis to Dimensional’s senior management as well as other departments throughout the firm. Team members collaborate to provide technical expertise and business partnering, in a clear and impactful way. Everyone on the team is empowered to innovate and generate solutions to improve controls and drive efficiency. The EMEA Finance Team operates across two offices supporting an EMEA business located in four countries and five offices. The team comprises of corporate accounting, fund accounting and tax. It has significant daily interaction with the global Finance team.
Responsibilities
Dimensional is seeking final/penultimate year students, or equivalent, to join our 2026 summer internship program, starting on 23rd June 2026 and concluding on 20th August 2026. Over the course of the nine-week program, the intern will be involved in extensive projects that improve the way we process and analyse information and manage finance & tax compliance risk. The intern will work side by side with Senior Associates to make thoughtful enhancements and will have the opportunity to present their findings at the end of the program. In addition to project work, interns take on responsibilities similar to full-time Associates, supporting the daily needs of the Senior Associates and broader Finance team.
Qualifications and Desired Experience
- Final/penultimate year student set to graduate in 2026/7
- Currently studying a Finance/ Accounting or similar degree, or equivalent studies
- A clear desire to build a career in accountancy
- Interest in the financial services industry and particularly asset management
- Excellent quantitative problem-solving and analytic skills
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
- Detail-oriented, organized, highly motivated, and able to work independently and in a team environment
- Self-starter who can manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
- Proficiency in MS Excel, familiar with other Microsoft Office products (Word, Outlook and Teams)
- Ability to absorb and apply information from formal and informal learning experiences
