Join to apply for the Regional Director, Financial Institutions Group EMEA role at Dimensional Fund Advisors. The Financial Institutions Group (FIG) works with clients and prospects around the world to develop broader and deeper relationships with Dimensional. By partnering closely with the Global Client Group (GCG) and firm resources, FIG is responsible for creating, managing, and enhancing key initiatives to reflect the existing and prospective relationships that other financial institutions have with the firm. Specifically, the team focuses on strategic engagement, knowledge sharing, and commercial alignment on key growth priorities. FIG strives to be a proactive, flexible, and forward-looking partner to the business and for our clients.
To be successful, FIG Regional Directors (RD) must have a solid foundational knowledge of investments, capital markets and asset allocation theory. Just as important, the Regional Director must have a global growth mindset, strong business development initiative, client service orientation, and understand the complex issues and challenges platforms face.

This position carries senior commercial accountability, significant internal influence, and direct exposure to global executive leadership. The RD will oversee the firm’s most scalable distribution intermediary clients and prospects—including custodians, global wealth institutions, insurance firms and private banks—while providing strategic insight on market structure, competitive dynamics, and evolving intermediary buying behavior.
Responsibilities:
- Support global and regional priorities, including escalating time-sensitive matters and communicating strategic relationship initiatives globally.
- Maintain regular dialogue with GCG and other functional areas across the firm’s global offices.
- Work with other relationship teams, legal, finance, product management, portfolio management, research, operations and senior management to qualify and implement new business and/or lead client projects.
- Coordinate strategic client events and networking opportunities and support marketing efforts including setting priorities of internal and external materials.
- Lead complex sales and manage executive level relationships.
- Develop strategies to expand and retain existing and build new platform relationships; expand Dimensional's addressable market, increase revenues, AUM and clients within the firms through the profitable growth of the Dimensional product suite.
- Educate home office executives and research teams on capital market behavior and investment theory.
- Consult with platform and product managers on working efficiently with intermediary platforms while providing a successful investment experience to clients.
- Be a spokesperson for the Dimensional brand; present Dimensional Fund Advisors’ investment philosophy and capabilities to research due-diligence teams, platform teams in a variety of settings.
- Formulate and execute tailored Dimensional initiatives and champion existing initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree required; MBA or CFA strongly preferred.
- Personal alignment, understanding and appreciation of Dimensional's investment process, philosophy, and business strategy.
- Extensive consultative sales abilities in building relationships and the ability to demonstrate a successful track record in raising net new assets.
- Extensive knowledge and network of strategic platform firms and decision makers.
- Collaborative disposition with authentic willingness and desire to work cross-functionally across the GCG and all other Dimensional divisions to maximize the firm’s opportunity set.
- An entrepreneurial spirit with high energy and passion; a self-starter.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, particularly with regards to conveying technical investment approaches.
