Dimensional’s Compliance and Risk Management Department is responsible for navigating risk and managing regulatory environments around the globe, including helping the firm conduct business and tell its story while remaining compliant with industry laws and standards. We help oversee the process to identify, assess, and implement controls for key risks before they materialize. Team members work in consultation with other areas of the firm and are committed to quality and accuracy in all that they do. The team is empowered to identify underlying patterns that impact the firm and provide forward‑looking solutions.
The Compliance Analyst works with the Compliance and Risk Management team to provide compliance support to the Global Client Group, oversee the compliance policy repository, and facilitate the review, production, and submission of records pertaining to regulatory requests. The team’s role includes marketing and advertising compliance, client reporting and requests for proposals, as well as management reporting. The team also assists the firm in Code of Ethics reviews and reporting, collating committee and board reports, assisting with regulatory and client correspondence, and keeping abreast of regulatory developments and operating practices in the UK and EMEA. It plays an important role in executing business compliance matters by providing evaluation, development, maintenance, testing, and monitoring of regulatory compliance programs and related client reporting. This position works closely with Compliance, Risk, and Legal colleagues across Dimensional’s global offices, and business representatives across the firm including the Global Client Group, seeking to ensure Dimensional remains compliant with all regulatory bodies and governing laws. This role may be based in Dimensional’s London or Dublin offices.
Responsibilities:
- Analyse sales materials and ensure adherence with relevant compliance in a timely manner.
- Assist sales and marketing teams on compliance‑related issues.
- Create processes and draft procedures for compliance‑related activities.
- Prepare, coordinate and deliver annual compliance training, in collaboration with team.
- Provide general compliance support to the sales and marketing channels.
- Review and analyse marketing and other firm communications and recommend proposed edits as needed.
- Assist in the implementation and conduct of Compliance Governance as required.
- Ensure compliance with regulations and controls by examining and analysing records, reports, operating practices, and documentation.
- Extract and compile data from various systems and sources; verify the accuracy and integrity of data.
- Conduct descriptive and/or diagnostic analysis to provide actionable insight derived from both internal and external data to enable Compliance to better understand, profile and enhance reporting requirements.
- Research, analyse, and identify key data‑driven insights.
- Review reports, risk indicators, and red flags to identify and propose corrective action.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, preferably in an economic or legal subject.
- Experience working in a professional and corporate environment; relevant experience in a compliance, legal or regulatory field would be beneficial.
- Technical and professional skills or knowledge of testing methodology, risk and controls analysis.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Exceptional interpersonal and relationship management skills; ability to interact with all levels of employees.
- Ability to operate and prioritise in a fast‑moving & demanding environment and deal with complex situations.
- Strong analytical mindset with an ability to synthesize data; detail‑oriented with a focus on quality results.
- Ability to be self‑guided and motivated, working to complete tasks thoroughly and requesting assistance if needed.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and data accuracy when handling sensitive information.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Product Suite.
- Ability to understand the needs of internal stakeholders and to manage workload in accordance with business priorities.
