DIMA Group is seeking a qualified and experienced Electrician to join a reputable, well-established company based in Newcastle upon Tyne. We offer a competitive salary and inclusion in the company bonus scheme. Candidates must have a full UK driving license and be comfortable using computers/tablets which will be relied on to manage job reports. Full training on our computer software will be provided.
The ideal candidate for this role will be a fully qualified electrician with at least 3 years of experience and willing to develop and grow as part of the expanding business. We are looking for an ambitious person to develop this part of the business, with progression available throughout their career.
Responsibilities:- To work individually or as part of a team undertaking high quality Electrical Repairs and Installation works.
- To comply with BS7671 standards and company standards of work performance, ensuring implementation and compliance within Electrical policies and procedures.
- Ensure implementation and compliance with company Health and Safety policies and procedures.
- Utilise both our CRM system and reporting software to accurately record documentation and produce certificates if required.
- To demonstrate a positive, diverse and inclusive attitude to both internal and external customers and colleagues.
- Maintain van stock and provide information enabling the improvements of first time fixes for the area you work within.
- Be flexible and willing to work overtime to cover workloads during busy periods.
- Be willing to attend a call out where necessary.
- Electrical Testing & Inspection, able to test their own work and complete EICR’s (domestic and commercial).
- City & Guilds 2391/2394 & 2395 combined.
- 18th Edition qualified.
- NVQ Level 3 Qualification in electrical installation work e.g. C&G 2330, 2360, 2357, 2365.
