DIMA Group is seeking an experienced, professional, and proactive SIA Head Door Supervisor to join our growing team. Purpose of the Role
To provide a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for customers, staff, and property by managing venue entry, supervising security operations, and responding to incidents in a professional and customer-focused manner.
Key Responsibilities
- Leadership & Operations
- Lead, supervise, and manage door supervision teams during shifts
- Maintain clear communication with venue management and the Operations Manager
- Coordinate security operations to ensure smooth and compliant venue operation
- Security & Safety
- Control entry to the venue, ensuring age, ID, and entry requirements are met
- Carry out ID checks in line with licensing legislation and Challenge 25
- Manage crowds, queues, and overall venue safety
- Maintain a visible presence inside and outside the venue
- Conduct regular patrols and proactively prevent issues
- Conflict Management & Incident Response
- Monitor customer behaviour and de-escalate situations professionally
- Respond to incidents in line with SIA guidelines and the law
- Safely remove individuals when necessary
- Work with police, first aiders, and venue management during emergencies
- Log all incident reports using C247
- Customer Service & Compliance
- Enforce venue rules, including dress code and licensing conditions
- Provide assistance to customers, including directions and local information
- Ensure fire exits are clear and highlighted at all times
Requirements
- Valid SIA Door Supervisor Licence (essential)
- Minimum 5 years of checkable work history and 3 years address history (BS7858)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Calm, professional approach under pressure
- Smart appearance and positive attitude
- Good understanding of licensing laws and venue policies
- Experience in conflict management and customer service (preferred but not essential)
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

Shift timings are subject to change upon notice from the venue:
- Friday: 18:00 - 00:15
- Saturday: 18:00 - 00:15
- Sunday: 18:00 - 23:15
Pay & Benefits
£16.00 per hour, comprising:
- £14.28 hourly rate
- £1.72 indicative holiday pay
