Summary of the role
The Telephony Lead will lead the strategic development, optimization, and management of telephony systems, ensuring they align with the organization\’s wider approach. The role involves leveraging new technologies to drive innovation, efficiency, and cost savings within contact centre operations. As a key liaison with senior management, the Telephony Lead will ensure telephony solutions meet current needs and future-proof the organization’s communications infrastructure.

What you’ll be doing
- Develop and implement a forward-looking telephony strategy supporting One Diligenta objectives
- Lead integration of new technologies like AI-driven communication tools, cloud-based solutions, and analytics
- Oversee installation, configuration, and maintenance of telephony hardware/software
- Develop disaster recovery and business continuity plans
- Stay updated on telephony innovations and evaluate new technologies
- Lead projects to consolidate telephony systems, driving economies of scale
- Troubleshoot and resolve telephony issues with support teams
- Manage telephony budget aligning with organizational financial goals
- Mentor team members and promote industry best practices
- Collaborate with management on industry trends and emerging technologies
